A data-vault warehouse for a Belgian insurer
python sql qgis
My first role out of university was in the Big Data & Analytics department at CSC, working as a data scientist.
Most of my time went to a business-intelligence project for one of the top players in Belgian insurance, building a data warehouse on the data-vault architecture. My role was mainly maintenance, but I also got to implement a handful of ETL workflows.
On the side
The rest of the time was split across smaller projects doing location intelligence — using Python and QGIS to turn geographic data into something the business could act on.
